This studio has a 40-year history as the home to recording legends like The Jackson 5, James Taylor, Linda Ronstadt, The Four Seasons, Bonnie Raitt, and The Bangles. This studio includes a control room featuring vintage equipment like a custom API console with Flying Faders® automation, as well as a separate live room, production room (with an iso booth), lounge, and bathrooms.
How do I book time to use Secret Genius Studios LA?
Complete the Application form, here. There is no fee for the studio time.
How do I know if my booking request has been successful?
Booking is not confirmed until you receive an email with the studio address and arrival instructions.
Do I need to pay for an engineer, or is this included?
There will be an engineer on-site for your session. Please make sure to specify the type of assistance needed from the engineer on the application form.
Will I have full ownership of my final recordings?
Yes, Secret Genius Studios is simply providing the space and equipment for you to create. We will provide you with an MP3 bounce of your final recording. Please bring a drive if you wish to save your session files. Secret Genius Studios will not be responsible for session files after the studio session is finished.

Can I smoke in the Studio?
Smoking and alcohol consumption are not permitted.
